iPhone app

A home for fragments of thought.

Screenshots piling up in your camera roll aren't really photos. They're thoughts you haven't sorted yet. (thinking) shows them to you one at a time, so you can decide what to keep, file or delete with one quick, satisfying swipe.

Coming soon on the App Store iPhone tips

For iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Available in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Vietnamese and Thai.

Swipe

One second per screenshot

  • Swipe down to toss. The card crumples up and drops into the trash can peeking up from the bottom of the screen. The next one is ready before it lands.
  • Right to keep, left for later. Anything you don't want to decide on now comes back around.
  • Carry it up to a UFO. Your folders are a row of UFOs. Bring the card under the one you want and let go: it lights up in the folder's color and beams it in.
  • Undo anytime. Tap Undo right after a decision. Photos are deleted only when you empty the Trash.
  • A receipt prints out. When you're done: how many you sorted, how much space they took up and how many are still waiting.
  • A nudge every evening. At 8:55 PM, a reminder tells you how many screenshots are still unsorted. Turn it off in Settings.

Photos are deleted only when you empty the Trash

Screenshots you toss wait in the app's own Trash. When you're ready, remove them from your photo library all at once, with a single iOS confirmation. Even then, they stay in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days. Screen recordings and the album where your banking app saves receipts can go through the same board.

Collect

Posts and links find a home here, too

From the share sheet

Send social media posts and web pages from the share button and they become link cards. Tap one to jump straight back to the original post.

Notes and pins

When you share a screenshot, add a note for the whole thing, or drop pins on the exact spots you want to remember.

Library

Your screenshots sit on an endless canvas, stacked like a stone wall. Find them by the words in them, your notes or their colors. The calendar groups them by day, and every week becomes a book on the shelf.

Create

Screenshots as raw material

Moodboard

Every folder is also a board. Arrange cards freely, add text tape and stickers, connect cards with lines, and export the whole thing as one image.

Stitch

Took a long post as several screenshots? Stitch them into one, with the overlap trimmed away. Or group a few into a single post without stitching.

Labels

Brand, model, price. Write labels with arrows anywhere on an image and save it.

Extract colors

Pull the colors out of a screenshot and lay them out as a poster of color discs. Your kept screenshots also add up to your favorite color, on one card.

Slideshow video

Pick up to 50 images and make a fast-cut video, entirely on your iPhone. Save it to Photos and share it anywhere.

Highlights and trims

Underline or highlight text inside a screenshot so you remember why you kept it. Trim the parts of a screen recording you don't need.

Stays on your iPhone

No server, no account

Your screenshots, notes, the text read from them and your folders live only on your iPhone. There is no developer server and nothing to sign up for. The only time the app goes online is to fetch the title and image of a link you shared, which is the same as opening that page in a browser. You can export your links and notes to a file at any time.

Tips

Two iPhone settings that make screenshots easier to live with

Hide screenshots in Photos

Let (thinking) be where you look at screenshots, and keep them out of your Photos library.

Watch

Turn off full-screen previews

Stop the full-screen preview that opens after every screenshot, so taking the next one doesn't interrupt you.
